At 22;39 hours Fire Districts 19,20 & 21 along with Freeland Fire, McAdoo Fire and Hazle Township Fire and White Haven EMS were dispatched to Carbon Street in Weatherly Borough for a reported Dwelling Fire. 2001 was the first officer to arrive on scene and assume command he reported that there was nothing visibly showing from the exterior of the structure. 2013 was the first engine to arrive on scene they stretched a 1 3/4 inch hose line in the house to the basement a crew of 4 firefighters with a TIC and the handline entered the basement to check to make sure the fire was out. It was determined that the fire was near the breaker box and it was out. However the basement and first floor had a smoke condition so PPV fans were placed in the residence and the windows were opened to ventilate the house. 2111 and 1911and 1955 stood by with there manpower along with Freeland Fires Ladder taking the front of the structure. Hazle Township stood by with Ladder 104 as a RIT Team. After about 30 minutes Weatherly command placed the situation under control and all units were released from the scene.
